Itinerary

Start of the day: We pick you up at your hotel in Santa Marta in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle (approx. 6:00 am). During the approximately 1-hour journey, you can relax and enjoy the views as you head to Tayrona Park.

Park entrance: Arrival at the El Zaino ticket office, where you will register and enter the park. From there, we go to the Cañaveral parking lot, the starting point of the hike to this natural paradise.

Jungle hike: We begin a hike of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes through the impressive tropical forest of Tayrona Park. Along the way, your guide will share knowledge about the local flora and fauna while you enjoy spectacular scenery.

Beaches along the route: On the way, you will pass by paradisiacal beaches such as Arenilla, La Piscina, and Arrecife, each more impressive than the last. Finally, you will arrive at Cabo San Juan, where turquoise waters and white sands await you—ideal for relaxing and completely disconnecting.

Free time: Upon arrival at Cabo San Juan, you will have free time to enjoy the place: a refreshing swim in its crystal-clear waters or simply relax on the beach. Additionally, your guide will recommend where to order a delicious typical lunch from the region (lunch not included) so you can taste local flavors while enjoying the natural surroundings.

Return to Santa Marta: Around 2:00 pm, we will begin the return journey along the same trail, enjoying the last views of this natural paradise. After approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes of hiking, we will take the transportation back to Santa Marta and conclude this unforgettable adventure.

Itinerary

Pick-up and transfer: The day begins with pick-up at your hotel in Santa Marta, where a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle will take you on an approximately 40-minute drive to the entrance of Tayrona Park. Once there, we head to the access point at Neguanje, an area near the coast that connects you to the beauty of the Caribbean Sea.

Mirador de las 7 Olas: From the park entrance, we continue along an unpaved road (dirt track) until we reach Neguanje, where we will stop at the Mirador de las 7 Olas, a perfect spot to capture photographs and enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the sea.

Boat to Playa Cristal: Then, we take a boat for an approximately 10-minute journey across the sea, where the crystal-clear waters and tropical landscape welcome you. In just a few minutes, you will arrive at Playa Cristal, a true natural paradise.

Enjoy Playa Cristal: Once at Playa Cristal, you will have free time to enjoy the beach, relax on its soft white sands, or swim in its turquoise and crystal-clear waters. If you prefer, you can engage in optional water activities such as snorkeling to explore the impressive nearby coral reefs, home to a wide variety of fish and marine life.

Free time and relaxation: You will have time to enjoy a delicious typical lunch at one of the local restaurants (lunch not included), while taking in the tropical landscape and serenity of this place.

Return to Santa Marta: Around 2:00 pm, we will take the boat back to Neguanje, where transportation awaits to return to Santa Marta. You will conclude this day full of nature, relaxation, and landscapes that will remain etched in your memory.

Itinerary

Meeting point: We will start the tour from the Marina Internacional (Charter Dock), where we ask you to be punctual, as once we obtain the departure permit, it is not possible to wait for anyone. The adventure begins on time!

Caribbean tour: For approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, you will enjoy an unparalleled panoramic view of the bays of Santa Marta and the majestic Sierra Nevada mountains, while immersing yourself in the tranquility and beauty of the Caribbean Sea.

Bahía Concha: Upon arriving at Bahía Concha, one of the most paradisiacal corners of the Caribbean, you will be amazed by its turquoise waters and white sand. This is the perfect place to relax, swim, or simply enjoy the serenity offered by this wonderful natural spot.

On board the sailboat: Enjoy a delicious snack and a refreshing drink on board while the sailboat anchors in the crystal-clear waters. Later, you will enjoy a typical Caribbean lunch with a dish of fresh fish, rice, and salad. We also have vegetarian options; just let us know when booking or one day before the tour to ensure everything is prepared to your liking.

Water activities: Take the opportunity to engage in water activities such as paddleboarding or snorkeling (equipment subject to availability), and explore the marine world of this paradisiacal bay.

Return: At 3:00 p.m., we will begin the return journey under sail and motor, sailing through the waters of Tayrona Park with spectacular views of its virgin coastline. We will arrive at the Marina Internacional around 5:00 p.m., where this unforgettable experience will end.

Rules for the Sailboat Tour to Bahía Concha

  • During navigation, the use of a life jacket is mandatory.
  • Bringing food and beverages into the Santa Marta Marina is prohibited. We are not responsible for confiscation at the entrance.
  • Loss of equipment has a cost: paddle $300,000 COP, snorkel mask $150,000 COP.
  • No refund is made if navigation to Tayrona is restricted due to weather conditions and only access to other bays is allowed. A refund will only be made if all navigation is suspended.
  • You must maintain a respectful attitude towards other passengers and follow the instructions of the crew at all times.
